In April 2013, the Government announced new funding of £150 million for physical education (PE) and sport.

This funding has been allocated to all primary schools from 1st September 2013 and is to be used to improve the quality and breadth of PE and sport provision.

Bourne Alliance schools have been working towards the delivery of high quality PE and school sport provision for a number of years and already employed specialist PE staff, led by a specialist PE teacher.
